The name Klaring has been used to name nine tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility by the PAGASA and its predecessor, the Philippine Weather Bureau.
- Typhoon Irma (1966) (T6602, 02W, Klaring) – struck the Philippines, killing 174 people along its path.
- Tropical Storm Pamela (1970) (T7004, 03W, Klaring) – made landfall in the Philippines.
- Tropical Storm Emma (1974) (T7406, 06W, Klaring) – had no significant impacts on land.
- Tropical Storm Rose (1978) (T7804, 04W, Klaring) – struck Taiwan as a tropical depression.
- Typhoon Pat (1982) (T8204, 04W, Klaring) – a Category 3 typhoon that curved away from the Philippines.
- Tropical Storm Mac (1986) (T8604, 04W, Klaring) – meandered around the basin.
- Typhoon Percy (1990) (T9006, 07W, Klaring) – a Category 4 typhoon that struck the Philippines and made landfall in China.
- Typhoon Page (1994) (T9402, 03W, Klaring) – had the largest average forecast errors out of all the typhoons in 1994.
- Tropical Storm Penny (1998) (T9803, 05W, Klaring) – killed one person in Hong Kong after landfall near there.
After the 2000 Pacific typhoon season, the PAGASA revised their naming lists, and the name Klaring was excluded.
