The name Carina has been used for five tropical cyclones worldwide: four in the Philippines by PAGASA in the Western Pacific, and one by Météo-France in the South-West Indian Ocean.
In the Western Pacific, where it replaced Cosme after a tropical storm in 2008 devastated the Philippines:

- Severe Tropical Storm Nida (2016) (T1604, 07W, Carina) – struck the Philippines and China.
- Tropical Depression Carina (2020) – a weak system that threatened no land areas.
- Typhoon Gaemi (2024) (T2403, 05W, Carina) – a powerful typhoon that impacted Taiwan and East China, and also drenched western Luzon in the Philippines by enhancing the southwest monsoon (Hanging Habagat).
In the South-West Indian Ocean:
- Cyclone Carina (2006) – an intense tropical cyclone which stayed at sea.
