American actor and filmmaker Bradley Cooper has received several awards and nominations for his film and theatrical performances. His major nominations include twelve Academy Awards, eleven British Academy Film Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, three Grammy Awards, and one Tony Award. He has also received nominations for four Producers Guild of America Awards, two Directors Guild Awards, one Writers Guild Award, seven Screen Actors Guild Awards, Thanks to his contributions on the A Star Is Born soundtrack, he won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Shallow" and a BAFTA Award for Best Film Music, both shared with Lady Gaga.

Cooper's started his career with the cult film Wet Hot American Summer (2001) followed by appearing in supporting roles in comedic films such as Wedding Crashers (2005), Failure to Launch (2006), and Yes Man (2008).[1] His breakthrough performance came in the 2009 comedy The Hangover.[2] Cooper then established himself as a leading man in films such as the romantic comedies He's Just Not That Into You (2009), Valentine's Day (2010), the action film The A-Team (2010), and the drama films Limitless (2011), and The Place Beyond the Pines (2012).
Cooper earned his first Academy Award for Best Actor nomination for his role as Pat Solitano in the David O. Russell directed critically acclaimed romantic comedy-drama Silver Linings Playbook.[3] The film garnered numerous nominations including for a Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor. The following year, Cooper reunited with David O. Russell and received a Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination for playing Richie DiMaso, in the crime-comedy American Hustle (2013). He garnered several accolades as well as nominations for an BAFTA Award, Critics' Choice Movie Award, and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.[4]
In 2014 Cooper starred in and co-produced the Clint Eastwood directed biographical war film American Sniper. Cooper was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor, and an Academy Award for Best Picture. With these nominations, Cooper became only the tenth actor in history to receive an Academy Award nomination in three consecutive years.[5][b] Cooper received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay for directorial film debut A Star is Born (2018). Cooper then received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture for Todd Phillips' Joker (2019), and Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley (2021). Cooper directed his second film Maestro portraying Leonard Bernstein for which he received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay.
Starting in 2014 Cooper has portrayed Rocket in numerous films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy. Cooper made his Broadway debut in "Three Days of Rain" with Julia Roberts and Paul Rudd in 2006. He portrayed the severely deformed Joseph Merrick in the revival of The Elephant Man (2015) which garnered more recognition and a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play nomination.

editThe National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) is a United States-based trade organization whose members are the owners of movie theaters. In now-renamed CinemaCon in 2011, the convention is NATO's only official convention of theater owners controlled by the organization itself. CinemaCon is now a standalone movie theater industry trade show or exposition originally established by NATO in 1975, usually held in Las Vegas in March.[155] Cooper has received one nomination.
