Kharvana District (Persian: بخش خاروانا) is in Varzaqan County,[a] East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kharvana.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 12,878 in 3,147 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 11,495 people in 3,111 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 16,753 inhabitants in 5,308 households.[2]
