Jirang is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Meghalaya state in India.[2] It is part of Ri Bhoi district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. As of 2023, it is represented by Sosthenes Sohtun of the National People's Party.
