It's presented a final project focused on scholar absenteeism and a socio-educational intervention project which establish a number of preventive measures. It contains a socio-historical record about absenteeism, the current legislation that sets up lines of action and an analysis of theoretical approaches that explains it. In particular, through the pedagogical approach, it is focused on the ability to intervene that the teaching centre has to face scholar absenteeism properly with a socio-educational intervention project in a secondary school. Key words: scholar absenteeism, secondary school, prevention, socio-educational intervention project.
