Life and career
editAhanor was born on 23 February 2008 in Aversa, Italy. He is of Nigerian descent through his parents. He is eliigble to represent Nigeria internationally through his parents. He has regarded Italy international Paolo Maldini as his football idol.[1]
As a youth player, Ahanor joined the youth academy of Italian side Genoa. During the 2023/24 season, he played for the club's under-15, under-16, and under-17 teams.[2] He started his senior career with Italian Serie A side Genoa. On 9 August 2024, he first made the matchday squad for the club during a 1–0 win over Reggiana.

editAhanor mainly operates as a defender. He specifically operates as a left-back. He is left-footed. He is known for his versatility. He can also operate as a center-back, central midfielder, and winger. He is also known for his speed and strength.[3]
