The 21st Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, presented by the Independent Filmmaker Project, were held on November 28, 2011.[1][2] The nominees were announced on October 20, 2011.[3][4][5] The ceremony was hosted by Edie Falco and Oliver Platt.[6]
