Overview

edit

Futurebirds are known for their high energy shows. They have retained a resilient melting-pot attitude toward rock music. The songs and albums run the gamut of human emotion and styles, where elements of psychedelic, alt-country, folk, punk, and pop sensibilities permeate every melody.[2][3][4]

The band has often shared the stage with Widespread Panic, Drive-By Truckers, Dead Confederate,[5] The Whigs, Blitzen Trapper and Jonny Corndawg. During summer 2011 the group toured with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals on the Bonnaroo Buzz Tour and performed twice during the Bonnaroo festival.[6][7]
