Ezekiel Nathaniel (born 20 June 2003)[1] is a Nigerian track and field athlete who is a 400 metre hurdler.

Career
editNathaniel studies at Baylor University in Texas. In May 2022, during his freshman year, he ran the 400m hurdles in a personal best time of 48.42, winning the Big 12 Conference title and breaking the Nigerian record set by Henry Amike in 1987.[1][2][3] Subsequently at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, he ran his first-round heat in 49.64, qualifying for the semi finals.[1][4]
In Budapest, competing at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in August 2023, he reached the semi finals.[5]
He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in August 2024, in the 400 metres hurdles, reaching the semi-finals.[6][7]
