European Banking Federation

The European Banking Federation (EBF) is a trade association representing national banking associations in countries of the European Union and the European Free Trade Association. It represents over 3,500 banks and about 2.6 million employees.[citation needed] It was established in 1960 as the Fédération bancaire européenne.[2]

At the same date, ten countries had associate status: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
