Eparchy of Timok (Serbian: Тимочка епархија) is one of the eparchies of the Serbian Orthodox Church, with the seat at Zaječar, Serbia. It was established in 1833, as a diocese within the Metropolitanate of Belgrade.[1] The eparchy was named after the Timok region in eastern part of Serbia. It was abolished in 1886, but recreated already in 1891.[2] Since 2014, it is headed by bishop Ilarion (Golubović).[3]
