History

edit

Clashes occurred here during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine,[3] when Ukrainian airborne assault troops engaged Russian soldiers at Ivankiv and Dymer.[4][5][6][7][8]

Until 26 January 2024, Dymer was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Dymer became a rural settlement.[9]
