improved article of Arne Johnson
editThe article is fully rewritten, removing the resume style of the previous version, and following the standard of similar articles. Several more references to the content have been added. Please comment if you believe fulfills Wikipedias criteria. Arne Johnson has been my PhD supervisor 1985-1990 that gave me some first hand knowledge into his early research. Together with a colleague, Mark Riley, we wrote a popular science article on the history of backbending, see ref https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/10619127.2022.2063000 also referred to in the article. My research field lateron developed in different area from Arne Johnson, towards theoretical nuclear physics. He has been retired since many years, so have I and there is no conflict of interest. I am not paid to write this article. RamonWyss (talk) 20:09, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- RamonWyss, sorry, but this doesn't even look like a normal biography for a scientist, and what are the secondary sources that actually discuss the human being who is the subject of the article? Drmies (talk) 20:11, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- Could you be more specific? I find wikipedia full with biographies of scientist similar to the one I wrote. RamonWyss (talk) 20:20, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- First of all, most biographies have secondary sources. Second, there isn't a single biography that starts like this: Drmies (talk) 21:38, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- What is below, is not the file I had rewritten. Now I see that it looks like my entire page disappeared when I went to the talk page. Not sure what has happened. How do I get back the file I edited? RamonWyss (talk) 08:52, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
