Sir William Marow, Kt. (fl. 1410) was three times the Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers [1] and Alderman of London prior to his appointment as Lord Mayor of London[2] in 1455[1]. Sir William married Katherine Rich, daughter and coheir of Thomas Rich, a London Mercer; they had seven children[2]:
- Thomas Marow, Serjeant-at-law, who married Isabell Brome, daughter of Nicholas Brome of Badesley.[2]
- John Marow, who died before his father.[2]
- William Marow of Rudfeld in Warwickshire, who married Joane Chadworth, daughter of John Shadworth, Lord Mayor of London, 1402.[2]
- Katherine Marow, who married Robert Throckmorton.[2]
- Joane Marow, who married as his first wife, Sir William Clopton, Kt., son of John Clopton[2] and Alice D'arcy of Kentwell Hall, Long Melford, Suffolk, England.[2][3][4]
- Agnes Marow, of whom nothing more is known.[2]
