Vinay Gowda (born 6 March 1979)[1] is an Indian actor who primarily works in the Kannada film and television industry.[2] Vinay Gowda began his acting career in 2013 as supporting role in Chitte Hejje (2013), CID Karnataka (2013) and Rocket (2015) followed by his breakthrough with a leading role in a Kannada serial, Ambari (2014).[3][4][5][6]
The actor is well-known for his roles as Lord Shiva in a Kannada mythological television series, Hara Hara Mahadeva (2016) and as Ravana in Jai Hanuman (2018).[7][8] In 2023, the actor participated in Bigg Boss Kannada (season 10) and emerged as the 3rd runner up. [9][10][11]
Early life
editVinay Gowda was born on 7 March 1979 in Sadhashivnagar in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Management. The actor moved to Mumbai at the age of 21 after he had a fallout with his parents.[12]
