The Delicate Medium is an upcoming American short thriller drama film written and directed by Jason Forbach in his directorial debut.

Premise

A queer memoirist's rise to fame turns into a chilling nightmare when he hires a medium to stop the traumatic voices in his head, at the moral cost of silencing spirits from his past.

Production

Development

In October 2024, it was announced that Forbach will make his film directorial debut with the film from a screenplay he wrote. The actors were later cast, with an Indiegogo campaign launching on October 11 with the goal to reach $35,000 in funding.^[1]

Filming

Filming is set to begin in January 2025.
