Shamim Hossen is a Bangladeshi sports journalist, lyricist, singer, actor and theater director. He continues to contribute to the modern journalism and culture of Bangladesh. Apart from his main profession of journalism, he acted in more than 50 dramas and short films. He has written and directed numerous plays and short films. Also wrote and tuend more than 10 songs. Legendary singer of Bangladesh have given voice to his songs.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
editHossen was born on August 10, 1992 in Jessore District of Khulna Division. he working sports department of the daily Jugantor, a first-class daily newspaper of Bangladesh. He obtained Honors degree from Jagannath University Department of Mass Communication and Journalism in 2015 and Masters degree from the same department in 2016. His journalism career started by working at www.amadershomoy.com during his student life. his first short film written and directed Jodi Thake Nosibe was released in 2019. Popular actor Fazlur Rahman Babu has sung his first song Dukher Feriwala written and tuned in 2021. In 2023, Shamim gave voice to his own song.[4]
