Abu Shadik Kayem (Bengali: আবু সাদিক কায়েম) also known as Shadik Kayem is a student activist and one of the leading organiser of the Anti-discrimination Students Movement.[1] and the President of the Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, University of Dhaka.[2]

Personal life and education

Shadik was a student in Political Science at Dhaka University. He hails from Khagrachari.[3]

Activism

Shadik is a one of the leading organiser of the Anti-discrimination Students Movement,[4] and the Student–People's uprising in Bangladesh. He was also seen at the forefront of the first press conference of the Anti-discrimination Students Movement after the fall of Hasina's regime on August 5, 2024. [5]
