Pietro Mangiarotti was an Italian knight who distinguished himself during the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, fighting under the banners of the Holy League. His courage and honor in battle possibly earned him admission to the privileges and honors of knighthood. He is remembered as a key figure in the military history of his family, which hails from Lombardy.
