Myeongdong-pa (hangul: 명동파, Myeongdong Family/Group/Clan) emerged as the biggest Korean Ro-Mob syndicate in Roblox. Established on July 8th, 2024, its origins rooting from Cho Byoungju (@Amondivo), the founder and current head of Myeongdong-pa, and 2 notable High-Ranking Executives, Gwok Suk-gun and Cho Sang-woo (@TheFalling_FireStar).
History
editAs Myeongdong-pa first came out, Cho Byoungju had formed his High-Ranking Council that'll act as Executives within the organization. Most notable members at this time were Gwok Suk-gun, Cho Sang-woo and Yun Dae-won. With Suk-gun and Sang-woo acting as advisors for the clan while Dae-won was in charge of making the affiliations document for Myeongdong-pa. Making them an important figure that lay foundation to providing information regarding about the group to newcomers.
At this time, the group prioritized in growing their numbers when they have free time. The three executives got to work with it as their leader is currently out of their home, taking vacation in a different location with his family. In the meantime, they grew in steady numbers. Reaching about 25+ members halfway by the month.
At around late July, Cho Byoungju felt low expectations with how there was inactivity within the main group as there were barely any attendees on the events that were being hosted due to timezone difficulties and repetitive recruiting. All hope had almost been lost for the wary leader, but that was until around Monday on the 22nd of July. The server significantly increased in size (+15 members; numbering a total of 40+ people at that time) after another jopok group named "Ya Doo Soon" (hangul:곧 할게 가족) has decided to merge with Myeongdong-pa as a subsidiary. With the former rebranding into "Suseong-pa" (hangul:수성파), which has then been known for being the most active subsidiary under Myeongdong-pa itself. Having also been known as the only sub-group within the organization having the most games/territories being made.
Golden Era of Myeongdong-pa
editAt the end of July and in the beginnings of August, Myeongdong-pa had reached its peak numbers of 55+ members. After another group, — This time, a Yakuza group named "Tokiryu-ikka" ("時龍一家";Tokiryu Family), had been personally reached out by Cho Byoungju himself then decided to merge with Myeongdong-pa afterwards. Rebranding themselves this time into "Hwaewong-pa" (hangul:화원파), The group itself has been successfully established and activity began going rampant around the month. With an estimated 20+ attendees for the following clanwide event to take place. Marking this as the largest event that the organization has ever hosted at that time.
