Luke M. Vaillancourt is an American business executive[1] and the President[2] of Vaillancourt Folk Art, a Christmas studio based in Sutton, Massachusetts.
Education
editVaillancourt is a graduate of Worcester Academy and Rochester Institute of Technology.[3] His published works include "Marketing4Digital: A Guide to Print Markets (Advertising)" (PIA/GATFPress, 2007) and "Interactivity in Advertising: The Key to Furthering Advertising Effectiveness" (Rochester Institute of Technology, 2006).
Career
editAfter his education, Vaillancourt returned to Central Massachusetts[4] working in advertising and marketing. He founded Mass Foodies[5] and worked in digital marketing[6][7] before joining Vaillancourt Folk Art in 2007 and was recognized as a 40 Under Forty honoree in 2012[8]He became the company's President in 2020.
Community Involvement
editVaillancourt has served on the Board of Trustees at Worcester Academy[9] and Worcester Historical Museum, and the Board of Directors at Millbury Federal Credit Union[10] and Discover Central Massachusetts. He is also involved with the Worcester Art Museum[11][12][13] and has participated in forums by the Worcester Business Journal, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, and at Congressional Roundtables.[14][15][16][17]
Personal Life
editVaillancourt lives in Sutton, Massachusetts[18] and is a regular resource for the region's culinary[19] and wine scene[20] through his involvement as a partner with Mass Food & Wine.[21][22]
