King is an upcoming Hindi-language action-thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film Shah Rukh Khan in titular role, alongside Suhana Khan (in her theatrical debut) and Abhishek Bachchan.[1][2] The soundtrack and musical score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film is set to release on 20 March 2026, coinciding with the Eid al-Fitr.[3]

Premise

Shah Rukh Khan takes on the role of a powerful and enigmatic don, fully embedded in the depths of the criminal underworld. His character transcends the typical crime lord archetype, becoming a mentor to Suhana Khan’s character. Through their bond, he teaches her essential survival skills, guiding and protecting her in their dangerous world. Their relationship faces intense trials as they confront a shared enemy, portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan, who brings a new level of tension and complexity to the story, testing their loyalty and resilience against a backdrop of intrigue and conflict.[4]
