Lt Gen Joy Chatterjee is an anesthesiologist and professor at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. He is the current commandant of the Army Hospital Research and Referral and honorary surgeon to the president of India. He was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra.[1]
Education
editChatterjee received his secondary education at St. Francis De Sales School. He then attended Hislop College and the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune.[1] He completed his M.D. in pediatric anesthesiology & post-doctoral at Mumbai University. In 2006, he completed a fellowship in liver transplant anesthesia at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.[2]
