Harry Destecroix (born 10 April 1987) is a British scientist, entrepreneur, and investor. Harry co-founded the biotech start-up Ziylo which was acquired by Novo Nordisk for up to $800 million in 2018.[1][2]. He founded Science Creates in 2017 which has established two deep tech incubators in Bristol, with a third in development[3][4], and two UKRI-funded accelerator programs for engineering biology[5][6][7]. Harry is founder and Managing Partner of SCVC, a Venture Capital firm that invests in early-stage deep tech start-ups[8][9][10][11].

Career

Destecroix advised the UK Government's Independent Review of University Spin-out Companies in November 2023[18]. The UK Government funding agency for innovation (UKRI) has funded two Science Creates accelerator programs for engineering biology[5].
