Draft:Guy R. Moorehead

Guy R. Moorhead (1910-1999) was a state legislator in New Jersey. In 1936, he became the first black Democrat elected to New Jersey's General Assembly.[1] Another source documents him as a Republican.[2] He lived in Newark.

He attended Upsala College.He was the first African American on it football team. He served during World War II.[1] He represented Essex County.[3]
