- Comment: This is a clear advert for a non-notable business. -Samoht27 (talk) 19:03, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Tone is non-neutral. Needs more secondary sourcing to establish notability. Sincerely, Novo Tape (She/Her)My Talk Page 19:21, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Enchant Christmas is a North American-based company that designs and builds immersive attractions titled Enchant. It is known for hosting the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze.[1][2]
Founded by Kevin Johnston, the company has markets in Nashville, Scottsdale, San Jose, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Seattle, Dallas, St. Petersburg, Washington DC, and Vancouver at locations such as Salt River Fields, PayPal Park, Legends Field, Ballpark Commons, Las Vegas Ballpark, Resorts World, Tropicana Field, Nationals Park, T-Mobile Park, Globe Life Field and the City of Vancouver.
History
editEnchant began in 2008 as a small business for two 19-year-olds, Cam Walker and Kevin Johnston, installing Christmas lights for neighbors. Their client list then included malls and ski resorts such as Park Royal, Pacific Centre, and Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, BC, growing the idea for an annual event.
The first Enchant Christmas event was held in the Vancouver Olympic Village in 2016 and attracted over 230,000 people.[3] The team was told by the City of Vancouver they would not be able to return to the site the following year, due to space limits. In 2017, Enchant partnered with the Texas Rangers T-Mobile Park[4][5] and Seattle’s Globe Life Field[6][7] as well as their T-Mobile Park (then Safeco Field), to use their stadium parking lots instead, fully moving Enchant into the stadiums in 2018. By 2023, the attraction included seven events held in local major league sports stadiums and outdoor spaces.
