Diana Balayera (born January 28, 1996) is a center basketball player who is playing for Mali women's national basketball team and La Roche Vendée Basket Club (RVBC) in France.[1]
Club career
editBalayera was playing for Champagne W during the 2020- 2021 season before she was transferred to Charnay Bourgogne Sud W on 9 January 2022. She won the 2022-2023 and 2023- 2024 season French Cup Women with Charnay Bourgogne Sud W.[2] She played 46 games with Maeva Djaidi- Tabdi as teammates at Charnay.[3] Balayera was part of the Charnay Bourgogne Sud W squad that plays Ligue féminine league where she ended with 3.8 rebounds per game and 0.9 assist per game.[4] She joined the La Roche Vendee Basketball Club in 2024.[5]
National team career
editShe was part of Mali national basketball team players for 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup and FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2023.[6][2] She was the 2023 number one 3×3 women player for Mali national federation.[7] She was part of the Mali women's nationali basketball team that represent Mali at the 2024 world cup where she played 20.3 minutes with 3 goals and 1.3 assist per game.[8]
