Clemens Michael Höberth (*26th of April, 1992), better known as his pseudonym Creo, also known as Hyperdemented on some platforms[1], is an electronic music producer from Vienna, Austria. He is best known for his track "Dimension" which has gotten popular in 2017 because of the Geometry Dash community. Creo describes his music style as an "energetic, experimental and melodic mix of electronic music"[2].
Career
editBefore Höberth started producing music, Höberth used to play the electric guitar, which inspired him to make music by himself. Höberth started producing music under the name Creo in 2008 on the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Reason[3], where he finished his first Album Adrenaline in 2009. At first, he started making Electro Rock tracks by himself. In 2010 Creo was a duo, which added Clemens' older brother Stephan Höberth in the now-called band. The latter then created 2 tracks under "Creo", namely Flux and Make It Look Like An Accident. Creo eventually became a solo artist again in the mid-2010s. [citation needed] From late 2015 onward, he has taken music production more seriously and gradually switched to EDM, as Electro Rock is considered a "band genre". In 2016, Creo released his most popular track, Dimension. This has grown to be his most popular track, mostly because a famous creator in the game Geometry Dash used it in a level in the game. As the game is very centered around music, Creo's popularity quickly spiked, bringing attention to his channel and starting off his YouTube career. As a result, Creo won the Geometry Dash awards as "Best Geometry Dash artist" twice, in 2018 and in 2022. At an unknown period of time, Creo switched his DAW from Reason to Ableton Live.[4]
