Aya Ogawa (Japanese: 小川彩, Hepburn: Ogawa Aya, born June 27, 2007)[1] is a Japanese singer, model, and television personality. She is a member of the Japanese girls idol group Nogizaka46, represented by Sony Music Records.
Personal Life
editAya Ogawa was born in Chiba, Japan. Before joining Nogizaka46, she was a model represented by the Japanese model agency GRAM Model Management.[2]

editOgawa was announced as a new member of Nogizaka46 February 5, 2022, on the group's YouTube Channel Nogizaka Haishinchū (乃木坂配信中, "Nogizaka Streaming Now").[3]
Yoko Shōgenji joined Hinatazaka46 in late 2022 as a fourth generation member. At the time of joining the idol group, she was the second youngest among the twelve new members at age 15. Following the group's official announcement on September 21, 2022, Shogenji made her first appearance as a member of Hinatazaka46 on October 13, 2022 in an introductory video posted to the group's official Youtube Channel.[4][5] Shōgenji's cousin, Mao Ioki, joined the sister idol group Nogizaka46 earlier that year.
Shōgenji's first appointment as a center was for the fourth generation's B-side song "Coelacanth" on the 2023 single "One Choice".[6] On December 22, 2023, Shōgenji made her live music program debut on TV Asahi's Christmas special edition of Music Station, Super Live 2023, as the substitute center for Akari Nibu in the group's live performance of the title song of their 9th Single, One Choice.[7][8][9]
On February 26, 2024, Shōgenji was announced as the center of the group's upcoming 11th single, of which the title was later announced as "Kimi wa Honeydew". This makes her the first fourth generation member to be appointed as a Hinatazaka46 title song center.[6][10][11] For the 12th single, "Zettaiteki Dairokkan", released the same year, she was again appointed as center, along with fellow fourth generation member Kaho Fujishima, making both of them the first dual centers of a Hinatazaka46 title song; she is also the second person to have been appointed center for more than one Hinatazaka46 single title song, after Nao Kosaka.
Television
editShōgenji's first television appearance was on November 7, 2022, in episode 184 of the group's variety show Hinatazaka de Aimashō. In March 2023, Shōgenji became a co-host, alongside the comedy duo Magical Lovely, for the "Informatics I" segment of NHK Educational TV's NHK High School Courses (NHK高校講座, NHK Kōkō Kōza) educational show.[12]
Film
editAlong with her fellow 4th generation members, Shōgenji starred in the 2024 film All of Tokyo! (ゼンブ・オブ・トーキョー, Zenbu of Tokyo), directed by Kazuyoshi Kumakiri.[13][14]
