Amy Durning is an American film producer.
Durning is a film and television producer and development executive at the New York City-based production company Fred Berner Films, founded by Fred Berner. She was nominated for an Oscar in 2024 as a producer of Maestro, a film biography about the composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.[1]
Durning has been working as a producer since the early 2000s. She met Berner while working as a production assistant on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She served as a producer on the 2020 film The Catch. At the Manchester International Film Festival 2021, it won Film of the Festival and Best International Film. In 2021 and 2022, she produced the series Law & Order: Organized Crime.
