Crecy is an unincorporated community located in Trinity County, Texas, United States.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 15 in 2000. It is located within the Huntsville, Texas micropolitan area.

History
editThe area was first settled sometime after the American Civil War by a family surnamed Terry.[2]
Geography
editCrecy is located on Farm to Market Road 233, 11 mi (18 km) northeast of Groveton in northeastern Trinity County.[2]
