Christian Joshua Mahogany (born October 11, 2000)[1] is an American professional football offensive guard for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College, twice named to the All-ACC team. He was selected by the Lions in the 2024 NFL draft.

Early life and high school
editMahogany grew up in Elmwood Park, New Jersey and attended Paramus Catholic High School.[2] He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Boston College.[3]
College career
editMahogany redshirted his true freshman season at Boston College.[4] He was named the Eagles' starting left guard entering his redshirt freshman season and started all 11 of the team's games.[5] Mahogany started 11 games and was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as a redshirt sophomore.[6] Mahogany missed his redshirt junior season after he suffered a torn ACL while playing basketball during the offseason.[7]

Mahogany was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (210th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.[10] He began his rookie season on the non-football injury list.[11] He was activated on October 29.
