The Central District of Kalaleh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کلاله) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kalaleh.[3]

History
editAfter the 2006 National Census, Zavkuh Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Pishkamar District.[4]
Demographics

editAt the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 103,983 in 22,536 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 84,064 people in 21,970 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 90,342 inhabitants in 25,604 households.[2]
