Central (Swindon ward)

Central is an electoral ward in the Borough of Swindon, England. Since 1998, the ward has elected three councillors to Swindon Borough Council.

History

The ward is set to be abolished for 2026.^[1]

Geography

The ward is based on the areas of Central Swindon North and Central Swindon South. It is considered a stronghold for the Labour Party.^[2]

In the 2021 census, the population of the ward was 15,425.^[3]
