Would anyone object to renaming this category to "Articles about Wikipedia"? "Wikipedia" seems to encompass all of Wikipedia, including help pages and so forth. None of the pages in this category are related to Wikipedia; they're about Wikipedia. I'm quite willing to perform all the recategorisation myself, if no-one objects. // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 10:55, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
- oppose. they are indeed about Wikipedia and the the Wikipedia category name is appropriate for it. it does not have to be so long and contrived like Articles about Wikipedia. Category:Wikipedia administration is the one that should contain the help pages, not Category:Wikipedia. Category:Microsoft is another short category name about Microsoft. -- Zondor 20:00, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
- Where would, for example, templates be categorised? They would fit under a category named 'Wikipedia', which would logically group anything Wikipedia-related. However, they have nothing whatsoever to do with Wikipedia administration. // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 04:48, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- project templates like {{stub}} belong in Category:Wikipedia administration. navigational ones like {{East Asia}} are instead encyclopaedic. -- Zondor 06:37, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
