Palestine
editThere is no reference to the ethnic cleansing that has been happening in Palestine since 1947, and neither can I find an overall article summarizing this genocide, there is only the individual articles pointing to each of the separate atrocities, as if they were isolated incidents that do not form part of an ongoing genocide. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.244.0.9 (talk) 11:09, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
- What is happening there is not a Genocide since the Palestinian Population is increasing. I respect your ideas, but it doesn't add up to an actual Genocide.Dunutubble (talk) 23:17, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

editThere is a dispute on Ukrainian Holocaust over the scope of this category. User:Aecis insists on categorizing the article (which briefly examines the uses of the term "Ukrainian Holocaust" in scholarly discourse) as part of the said category (although Holodomor itself is not included in Category:Genocide). He ponders: Where does it say that Category:Genocide should only contain articles about genocides? If it did, it would have been called Category:Genocides, not Category:Genocide. The category contains many articles, all somehow relating to the concept of genocide. Some on actual genocides, some for instance on notable books. Does the term Ukrainian Holocaust cover a belief that Holodomor was a genocide? Is the Category:Genocide for such articles? Since the term is very controversial, as applied to the Soviet hunger of 1932-33, and the parties to the dispute may not be entirely impartial, I request your opinions whether, considering our categorization guidelines, Category:Genocide should include events whose classification as genocide is widely disputed and (as in the present case) the articles discussing alternative names of such events. --Ghirla -трёп- 08:19, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
If any experienced wikipedia user can move "The Holocaust" from the "T" section into the "H" section, I think that would be more appropriate. TPaineTX (talk) 06:59, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Merge
editShouldn't this Category be merged to Category:Genocides, which already exists. Editor2020 (talk) 01:38, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
No, that one is about various instances of genocide, not the general concept. Dimadick (talk) 12:44, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
Kalergi Plan
editWhy is the Kalergi Plan here? It's just a White Nationalist Conspiracy Theory; not much else.Dunutubble (talk) 23:19, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
Japanese Crimes Against Humanity
editThe systematic ethnic cleansing and other crimes against humanity are all genocide, right? can we add it to the card for the series on genocide in either the WW2 section or the early 20th century? MRFring (talk) 19:33, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
