Bodycam is an upcoming multiplayer tactical shooter video game being developed by indie company Reissad Studio.[1] The game was released as an early access title on June 7, 2024.[2] It has been attributed as having realistic gameplay.[2][3][4][5]

Gameplay

Bodycam is a tactical shooter which is played from a first-person perspective. It features four game modes: Body Bomb, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and Zombies.[6]

Development

Bodycam was developed using Unreal Engine 5 by two people from France, aged 18 and 20 years old.[7]

Reception

Bodycam received mixed reviews upon early access release, with many users criticizing it for server issue. As of December 2024, the review steadily improve and holds a 74% "Mostly Positive" approval rating from Steam user reviews.

Bodycam has been praised for its realistic graphics, sound design and gun play.[8] The game's graphics and environments have been compared to that of Unrecord,[5][9] as the two games have graphic elements in common.[1][9]

Ranked as the best-selling game on the Steam platform during the first week of its released, the game sold 800,000 units in July 2024, generating sales of approximately €20 million.[10]
