Black Salt Dragon (Korean: 그놈은 흑염룡) is an upcoming South Korean television series based on a webtoon of the same name by Hye Jin-yang, starring Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook. It is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of 2025 on tvN.

Synopsis
editBlack Salt Dragon depicts the relationship of hatred and reversal of power between two people who met as characters in an online game and reunited as a boss and employee 16 years later.

Production and release
editDevelopment
editThe romance drama based on a webtoon of the same name by Hye Jin-yang[3] was directed by Lee Soo-hyun, who directed Delightfully Deceitful, and has joined forces with writer Kim Soo-yeon, who wrote the screenplay.[1] It was produced by Studio N and planned by Studio Dragon.[4]
Casting
editOn April 2, 2024, it was reported that Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook are currently in discussions to be cast for the series, and tvN is reviewing the arrangement.[5] On July 12, tvN announced, Moon and Choi have been cast in the highly anticipated.[6] On July 15, it was announced that Im Se-mi and Kwak Si-yang had confirmed their appearances.[2]
