Plot
edit"Acı Hayat" (Bitter Life) is a film that tells the story of Mehmet and Nermin, who are in love with each other. Mehmet works as a welder in a shipyard, while Nermin is a manicurist. Both dream of getting married and having a happy home, but they cannot find an affordable house within their budget. When Nermin's hopes for marriage are dashed, she meets Ender, the son of a wealthy family. Ender falls in love with Nermin at first sight and immediately proposes marriage. Nermin, tired of her slum life, accepts the proposal. However, Ender's family does not approve of the marriage. After the events unfold, Nermin realizes with regret that she has left Mehmet and wants to return to him. Mehmet cannot accept that the woman he loves has left him for a wealthy man and plans a grand scheme for revenge.
