Baghshad (Persian: باغشاد) is a city in the Central District of Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran. It is the merger of the villages of Bagh Shah, Madiseh, and Now Guran after the 2011 National Census.[3]

Population
editAt the time of the 2006 census, Baghshad's population (as the total of its constituent villages before their merger) was 4,924 in 1,240 households, when it was in Khorramrud Rural District[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,679 people in 1,367 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population as 4,356 people in 1,408 households,[2] by which time the villages had merged to form the new city of Baghshad.[3]
After the census, the rural district was transferred to the new Fuladshahr District.[7]
