Alan van Sprang (born June 19, 1971) is a Canadian actor[1] best known for playing Sir Francis Bryan in the series The Tudors,[2] appearing in the Living Dead films of George A. Romero[2] and for playing King Henry on The CW's original series Reign.[3] He also portrayed Valentine Morgenstern on Freeform's hit show, Shadowhunters.[4][5]

Personal life
editVan Sprang is the son of musician Van Louis, a former member of rock band The Stampeders.[1] Van Sprang has a son named Logan.[2]
