Acija Alfirević (born 12 August 1951) is an academic, lecturer, professor, feminist, scientist, writer and literary translator.[1]

Personal life
editAlfirević was born on 12 August 1951 in Split, Yugoslavia. She lived and lectured in London, Albany, Zagreb, Melbourne, Budapest, again London, Berlin and Kraków.
Career
editShe has over 100 publications of poetry, prose, scientific/scholarly works and literary/theater translations. For her lecturing and writing work Alfirević was awarded in the United States, Australia, Hungary and former Yugoslavia.[citation needed]
