Achillea clavennae, the silvery yarrow, is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the sunflower family.[2] The species name (clavennae) honors the Italian botanist N. Clavena (17th century).[3]

Description
editAchillea clavennae can reach a height of about 25 centimetres (9.8 in). The leaves are silvery silky-hairy, pinnatifid, cut into some lobes, alternate, about 4–8 centimetres (1.6–3.1 in) long. This plant blooms from June to August, producing many loose clusters.
Distribution
editThis species is native to Central Europe, the eastern Alps, the southern Alps up to the Balkan Peninsula.
