- Fight for the Fallen special of AEW Dynamite will begin All Elite Wrestling's (AEW) new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), where Dynamite and AEW Collision will be simulcast on their respective TV channels (TBS and TNT) and WBD's streaming platform Max.
- WWE Network worldwide will shut down, with WWE content moved to Netflix in international markets where WWE Network was still available.
- January 3 – WWE SmackDown expands to three hours for the first time since its inception.
- January 5 – Wrestle Dynasty, a co-promoted supershow between All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, World Wonder Ring Stardom, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, will be the first pay-per-view event to air on Max.
- January 6 – WWE Raw will premier on Netflix after airing on the USA Network since 2005, also marking the first time in the show's history in which it will not air on linear television. It will also return to a three-hour broadcast since October 2024.
- August 2 & 3 – First two-night WWE SummerSlam.
