edit

The trophy and mascots for the inaugural edition was unveiled on 3rd January 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.[8] The mascots have been named as Tara and Tejas. The blue trophy is for the men's competition while the green trophy is for the women's.[9]

Telecast

edit

The competition will be telecasted in Sony Sports network and Doordarshan. It will be live streamed on Disney+ Hotstar platform.

Participants

edit

The event will witness the participation of 23 countries from six continents, featuring 20 men's and 19 women's teams.[6] Each squad will have 15 players, one coach, one manager and international technical officials.[10]
