editThe event marks the organization's third visit to the Czech Republic, and the second to be held in the city of Liberec.[4]
On December 7, 2023, KSW announced that number 2 contender Valeriu Mircea and number 3 contender and Czech MMA star Leo Brichta will fight for the interim KSW Lightweight Championship in the main event.[5]
During the gala in Liberec, two local heroes will also return to the cage: Dominik Humburger (7-1, 6 KO) and Josef Stummer (3-1, 1 Sub).

editTo celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the KSW brand, a special event is being prepared, which will take place on February 24 at the PreZero Arena in Gliwice. In the main event of the XTB KSW Epic gala, which will harken back to the history of Mixed Martial Arts Confrontation, an incredible duel between two legends of the sports world will take place. In a six-round boxing clash, Mamed Khalidov, the biggest star of Polish MMA, will face off against Tomasz Adamek, a champion and boxing legend of the rings.

An unification KSW Lightweight Championship bout between reigning two-division champion Salahdine Parnasse and interim champion Valeriu Mircea headlined the event.
A lightweight bout between Ramzan Jembiev and the promotional newcomer El Hadji Ndiaye was scheduled to take place at the event.[8] However, Jembiev withdrew due to shoulder injury and was replaced in short notice by Nicolae Bivol.[9]
