The 2024 Zim Afro T10 will be the second season of the Zim Afro T10.[1] The tournament will be played from 21 to 29 September 2024 at the Harare Sports Club.[2] Durban Wolves, formerly known as Durban Qalandars, are the defending champions.[3][4][5]

Background

On 7 September 2024, it was announced that the Zim Afro T10 would return for a second season in 2024, being held from 21 September to 29 September at Harare Sports Club in Harare. On 8 September 2024, the players draft was held to determine the lineups of the six franchises for the 2024 season.

Harare Hurricanes were replaced by Harare Bolts and Bulawayo Braves were replaced by Bulawayo Brave Jaguars.

Squads

Players were chosen in a draft which took place on 8 September 2024.[8] Six franchises have signed their icon and global super stars as direct signings before going into the draft, to complete their 15-man squad with an additional 16th player as Global Icon.[9]

A total of 600 players from 23 cricket playing countries participated in the draft. Former Zimbabwean captain and batsman Sikandar Raza was the first pick.[10][11]
