2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier

The 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.[1][2]

The first stage of the qualification pathway in the Asia region consisted of two sub-regional qualifiers, held in July and September 2023 in Malaysia and Qatar respectively.[3][4][5] Malaysia won all of their matches in the Qualifier B tournament and advanced to the regional final.[6] Kuwait won the Qualifier A to advance to the regional final after defeating Saudi Arabia in their final match.[7]

In the regional final, Kuwait and Malaysia were joined by Nepal, Oman, and Bahrain (all of whom contested in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A in Oman), as well as Hong Kong and Singapore (who contested in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier B in Zimbabwe), and the United Arab Emirates (who were knocked out of the first round of the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia).[8]

The regional final was held in Nepal from 30 October to 5 November 2023.[9][10] The two finalists (Nepal and Oman) qualified for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.[11][12]
