Previous season
editThe Tigers finished the 2022–23 season 21–11, 13–5 in CAA play, to finish in a three-way tie for first place.[1] Due to tiebreakers, they received the #1 seed in the CAA tournament, where they defeated #9 seed Hampton in the quarterfinals,[2] and #4 William & Mary,[3] before being upset by #7 seed Monmouth in the championship game.[4] They received an automatic bid into the WNIT,[5] where they would lose in the first round to Harvard.[6]
